HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-238CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was heiff on the 7th day of April , 1980 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Counci I members Mavenp-o-FT, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following members were absent: one w** �nuncilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-238 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID PROJECT NO. 933 - 17TH AVE. AND COUNTY ROAD 18 WATERMAIN WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement forbids for the construction of the improvement of 17th Avenue from South Shore Drive to County Road 18 frontage road and County Road 18 frontage road from 19th Ave. to 13th Ave. by construction of watermain; and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractors Total Base Bid Contractors Total Base Bid Q.R.S. Construction, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor anu Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Q.R.S. Construction, Inc. of Bloomington, Minne- sota in the name of the City of Plymouth, for the construction of the 17th Ave. and County Road 18 watermain in the amount of $73,384.68. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
