HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-235CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth,inneMf� sola Was held on the 7th day of April 19 80The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, ounce ]member avenpor�', Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following members were absent: one Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-235 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS KINGSVIEW LANE SOUTH OF 14TH AVENUE PROJECT NO. 016 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of the Council adopted February 11, 1980, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. with respect to the improvement of Kingsview Lane south of 14th Ave.; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of hitumuinous street with concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on April 7, 1980; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $16,685.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 5th day of May, 1980 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Wijncilmom�er Hoyt —, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmember Davenport, Hoyt. Neils and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
