Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth,iesota was a on the
7th day of April , 19 8n� . The following members were

.n_uncilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO, 8o-219
APPROVING PARKING VARIANCE FOR ROSE CONFECTIONS, INC., 700 BERKSHIRE LONE (A-771)
WHEREAS, the City Council by resolution has approved the site plan amendment for
a 34,508 square foot addition for Rose Confections, Inc, at 700 Berkshire Lane;
and,
WHEREAS, said approval is for plans which include a variance from City Ordinances
for 13 parking spaces; and,
WHEREAS, said variance is granted to Rose Confections based upon the proposed use
of warehouse distribution as reflected plans and in supporting materials contained
in City File No. A-771;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does grant a variance to Rose Confections, Inc.
for 13 parking stalls from the minimum ordinance requirements for a warehouse
distribution use at 700 Berkshire Lane further described as followst
That part of Lot 2, Block 1, CARLSON COMPANIES ADDITION, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, according to the recorded plat thereof, lying southerly of the
following described line:
Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 1 of said Block 1; thence
on an assumed bearing of South 0 degrees 21 minutes 38 seconds East
along the east line of said Lots 1 and 2 a distance of 1654,50 feet
to the point of beginning; thence South 89 degrees, 38 minutes 22
seconds West 750.00 feet to a point hereinafter referred to as Point
A; thence continue South 89 degrees 18 minutes 22 seconds West to
the westerly line of said Lot 2 and there terminating,
Excepting therefrom that part lying easterly of the following described line;
Beginning at aforementioned Point A; thence South 0 degrees 21 minutes
38 seconds East to the southerly line of said Lot 2.

FURTHER, said variance is granted based on plans and information contained in
City File No. A-771 for Rose Confections, Inc. and any subsequent use of said
property other than for a type and degree of activity than that approved shall
be subject to specific approval by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Davenport and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following votfavor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport,
Hoyt, Neils and Schneidgr

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
