HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-217Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of April , 19 80 . The following members were present: _ Mayor Hunt, Counci mem ers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following members were absent: None —,nim rilmPmher Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-217 DENYING REAR YARD VARIANCE FOR THOMAS ROSKOP, 10705 - 39TH AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, Mr. Thomas Roskop, 10705 - 39th Avenue North, has requested of the Board of Zoning Adjustments and Appeals, a variance from the required rear yard setback; and, WHEREAS, the Board meeting in regular session on November 13, 1979, heard the appeal of Mr. Roskop; and, WHEREAS, the Board after its deliberation on the matter voted unanimously to deny the request because no hardship could be demonstrated and the petitioner had ample land on which to locate the proposed structure; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does uphold the decision of the Board of Zoning Adjustments and Appeals to deny the variance from the rear yard setback requirements of the City Zoning Ordinance, as requested by Mr. Thomas Roskop, 10705 - 39th Avenue North. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Daven ort , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vo e n favor thereof: Mavor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt.
