The following members were present: Mayor HuntCoi The following members were absent: Councilmemher Davenpnrt Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adopt on: RESOLUTION #SO -201 XTILEORIZING THE TRANSFER OF MMS FROM WCRITRS' COMPENSATION ACCOUNT TO THL RESER%T FOR WORKERS' COMPENSATION CLADS ACCOUNT WHEREAS, the City has purchased a contract which provides Workers' compensation benefits to all employees, and WHEREAS, the policy purchased is a self-insurance plan for all claims in the aggregate of $150,000 for the contract year April 1, 1980 through March 31, 1981, and WHEREAS, The Finance Director recce rands that a cash reserve by established in the amount of all claims as they occur, and WHEREAS, the Finance Director is authorized to transfer the necessary monies from the various funds as necessary and deposit the monies into the Reserve for Workers' Ccmp- ensation claims. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT M EBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and thereby does establish a Reserve for Workers' Compensation Claims account. FURTHER, that the balance of the reserve account be maintained at the dollar amount of estimated claims until the account balance reaches $300,000. maximum. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneideg and upon trate being taken thereon, the o ow ng voted n ravor thereof.
