HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-19077777 CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day of March , 1980 The following members were present: Acting _Ma or�Nei s,ounce members—Hoyt and Schneider The following membersabsenMayor Hunt, Councilmember Davenport tt. councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-190 RECEIVING PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - LANCASTER LAME FROM 19TH AVE. TO 21ST AVE. WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the property owenrs requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting on Lancaster Lane from 19th Ave. to 21st Ave.: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Lanca:ter Lane from 19th Ave. to 21st Ave. filed with the City Council on March 17, 1980, is herewith received. 2. The petition is not signed by 100% of the affected property owners and will require public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coupcilmember Hoyt 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: .Councilmembers Hoyt and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: Acting Mayor Neils Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passea and adopted.
