Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
17th day of March , 19 80. The following members were
present: Actina Mayor Neils Councilmembe rs Hoyt and SrhnPidpr
The following members were absent: mayor Hunt, CniinrilmPmhPr navPnpart
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-184
RESOLUTION ADOPTING A POLICY RELATING TO THE PROCESSING
OF DEMOLITION ORDERS BY THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City is obliged to eliminate hazards to the public safety and health
caused by dangerous or hazardous structures within the community, and
WHEREAS, the elimination of such hazards normally proceeds the issuance of a
demolition order, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to promote cooperation and understanding of the
demolition order process and therefore wishes to establish an orderly set of
procedures for this process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HERE13Y RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth
that it should and hereby does adopt "A Policy Relating to the Processing of
Demolition Orders by the City" dated March 17, 1980, and further directs that the
staff proceed with the implementation of this procedures and inclusion of the
policy and procedural statement into the policy manual.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho , and upon vote being taken thereon. the
