Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held -on-79F 3rd day of

Counci]member Davenport introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80- 170
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
A STORM DRAINAGE AND PONDING EASEMENT - GREERS ORCHARD TRACTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, George Larson has petitioned the City Council
for a vacation of the following storm drainage and ponding easement:
A permanent easement over, under, across and through that part of the East
one-half of Lot 23, Greers Orchard Tracts bounded by a line described as
follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the East one-half of Lot 23; thence
Northerly along the West line of said East one-half to a point distant 385
feet Southerly from the Northwest corner thereof, said point being the true
point of beginning; thence continuing Northerly along said West line a
distance of 265 feet; thence Northeasterly to a point on the East line of
said Lot 23 distant 55 feet South from the Northeast corner thereof; thence
South a distance of 195 feet; thence Southwesterly to the point of beginning
and there terminating.
And also;
A permanent easement over, under, across and through that part of the West
88.20 feet of Lot 24, Greers Orchard Tracts bounded by a line described as
follows:
Commmencing at a point on the West line of said Lot 24, 250 feet South from
the Northwest corner thereof; thence North along said West line a distance
of 195 feet; thence East to a point on the East line of the West 88.20 feet
of said Lot 24 distant 65 feet South from the Northeast corner of said West
88.20 feet; thence South along the East line of said West 88.20 feet a
distance of 135 feet; thence Southwesterly to the point of beginning and
there terminating.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and found the same to
be in order;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CI(Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of April 7, 1980
at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard,
as the time and place for the public hearing on said petition and directs the
administrative staff to publsh notice of said hearing as provided by law.
