HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-139CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota wasela on the 25th day of _ February , 19 80 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following members were absent: None _Iayor Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80- 139 NATHAN LANE - 10TH AVENUE TO STH AVENUE STREET IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT NO. 001 WHEREAS, a Resolution was adopted the 7th day of January, 1980 fixing a date for a public hearing with respect to street improvements on Nathan Lane from 10th Avenue to 8th Avenue; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publica- tions of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon on the 4th day of February, 1980, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the Council hereby determined not to undertake the improvement proposed in the Council Resolution adopted January 7, 1980, and as contained in the preliminary engineering report received the same date. 2. That said improvement will be considered with the 1981 Capital Improvements Program. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor there -7.7 -Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider . The following voted against or abstained: None' Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
