HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-137CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a SDecial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 95TH day of February , 19 80 , The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following memners were absent: None ro4ncilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-137 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT NO. 012 - WELL NO. 6 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on January 7, 1980, the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of Deep Well No. 6 to be located on property owned by MN/DOT adjacent to 23rd Ave. and Fernbrook Lane; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifi- cations. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 1980, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote beingg taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmem�bers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. +rt* ftt atrr
