moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-135
AUTHORIZING SOIL BORINGS FOR LA COMPTE, OAKWOOD AND PLYMOUTH JR. HIGH PARKS
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the concept plans for LaCompte, Oakwood
and Plymouth Junior High parks; and
WHEREAS, because the wide variety of soils in these areas make it necessary for
said borings to be taken in order to assure compatibility with proposed land
development and usage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Engineering Department is authorized to employ a soils testing
company to take the necessary soil borings for LaCompte, Oakwood and Plymouth
Junior High parks.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that total costs associated therewith shall not exceed
$6,000.
