moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-134
DESIGNATING PARK CONSULTANT FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
OF SIX COMMUNITY PLAYFIELDS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has received petitions requiring a special election
on the question of whether bonds shall be issued for the completion of six
community playfields; and
WHEREAS, in the event that such election is successful, the time schedule for
completion of the community playfields desired by the petitioners requires that
the City immediately designate a consultant for the completion of the project;
and
WHEREAS, the City and the Park Consultant deem it mutually advantageous to set
forth the details of their relationship in written contract form;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that Bather, Ringrose, Wolfsfeld, Jarvis, Gardner, Inc. be designated
as the Park Consultant for the construction of six community playfields.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to prepare an
Agreement for Engineering Services for Council approval.
AND FURTHER that in the event of the failure of the special Bond Election
such Agreement and this Resolution shall be null and void.
