Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota—was held ori the
4th day of Februar.y , 19 80 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, and Schneider

Counciimember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-112
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THREE 1980 MODEL 27,500 G.V.W. DUMP TRUCKS
WHEREAS, the 1979 and 1980 Central Equipment Budget contemplates the purchase of
three dump trucks; and
WHEREAS, on November 28, 1979, pursuant to State Statute, the Hennepin County
Cooperative Purchasing Group received and Publicly read aloud sealed bids for
the purchase of twelve 27,500 lb. G.V.W. dump trucks under Hennepin County
Contract No. 0305; and
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Board, upon recommendation of the County Purchasing
Manager, has awarded this bid to the lowest responsible bidder, Iten Chevrolet;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does authorize the purchase of three 27,500
G.V.W. dump trucks from Iten Chevrolet under the conditions and specifications
of Hennepin County Contract No. 0305.
FURTHER, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order
in an amount not to exceed $64,599.66 from Account No. 602-531-921 for the
purchase of these vehicles.
FURTHER, that the City Manager be directed to proceed to dispose of City units
202, 203 and 224 through public sale, private negotiations or other appropriate
means to provide a maximum return on these vehicles to the City.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Davenport and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: ayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport,
Hoyt, and Schneider

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
