APPROVING PLANS AND SPECFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1980 STREET SURFACING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passsed by the Council as follows:
I. Project No. 707 - Seven Ponds Area
Resolution NO. 79-103; February 20, 1979
2. Project No. 809 - Pike Lake Area

3. Project No. 829 - Ridgecrest Area

the City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc.,
has prepared plans and specifications for the following street improvements:
1. Project 707 - Seven Ponds Addition
Holly Lane, 32nd Ave. and 32nd Ave. extended to Seven Ponds East Addition
2. Project 809 - Pike Lake Area
Hemlock Lane north of Co. Rd. 10; Goldenrod Lane from 61st Ave. to dead end
south of 60th Ave.; 61st Ave. and 60th Ave. east of Hemlock Lane
3. Project 829 - Ridgecrest Area
Quaker Lane from 28th Ave. to 31st Ave.; Orleans Lane from 28th Ave. to south
line of Tiburon Addition; 31st Ave. west of Quaker Lane; 30th Ave. from
Quaker Lane to Orleans Lane and 29th Ave. from Quaker Lane to east line of
Ridgecrest Addition
4. Project 832 - Schmidt Lake Hills Addition
All streets within the addition
5. Project 846 - Rappaport Addition

and has presented such plans and specfications to the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper
and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making
of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to
be done, shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk until 10:00 a.m.,
Friday, March 7, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Plymouth
City Center at 3400 Plymouth Blvd., Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager
and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk
and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified
check payable to the Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by ilmember Davenport , and upon vote being taken thereon the
following voted in ravor reof: Mayor Bunt, Councilmembers Davenport,
