Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
4th day of February , !9 80 . The following memhers were

Councilmamber Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-98
ORDERING SEGMENT 1 OF IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECFICIITIONS
VICKSBURG LANE FROM HIGHWAY 55 TO
NORTH LINE OF MINNEAPOLIS WORKHOUSE PROPERTY
UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT NO. 002
WHEREAS, a Resolution was adopted the 7th day of January, 1980 fixing a date for
a public hearing with respect to street and utility improvements on Vicksburg
Lane from Highway 55 to County Road 6; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of watermain, storm
sewer, bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter, medians and all necessary
appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications
of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon on the 4th day
of February, 1980, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Segment 1 of such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the
Council Resolution adopted January 7, 1980 and as contained in the
preliminary engineering report received the same date, except as
follows:
a. Delete the storm sewer to serve area north of Highway 55 and
replace storm sewer with an open ditch.
b. Final plans and specifications to include an alternate for
moving the roadway to the west side at the Playhouse property.
2. Strgar-Roscoe, Inc. is hereby designated as engineer for the improvement.
They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such
improvement.
3. The cost of the medians are to be separated for each intersection.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
