HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-070CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of January , 19 80 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Dav, The following members were absent: No ,C_Qurzc_ilmember Hoyt _ introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-70 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT 008 PIKE LAKE AREA TRUNK SEWER WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of the Council adopted November 19, 1979 and the 1980 Capital Improvements Program, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. with respeL:, to the improvement of the following: Installation of the Pike Lake Interceptor Sewer from the existing lift station near 60th Ave. and Goldenrod Lane (Point 10 C on the Comprehensive Sewer Plan) easterly to the intersection of County Road 10 and County Road 18 (Point 10 A). WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of sanitary sewer and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on January 21, 1980; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $764,565.00. 2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 11th day of February, 1980 in the Council Chamgers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
