HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-047CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of Januar , 19 80 . The following memhers were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmem ersDaavenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following memoers were a sen : None Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-47 APPOINTING OFFICIAL DEPOS'TORIES FOR CITY FUNDS FOR 1980 WHEREAS, State Statutes require that the City designate general depositories for City monies; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following be designated as official general depositories for 1980 for the City of Plymouth: the First National Bank of Minneapolis, the First National Bank of Wayzata and the Plymouth State Bank of Plymouth. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following be designated as official depositories for the City's temporary investment program for 1980: the Marquette National Bank of Minneapolis, the New Hope State Bank of New Hope, the First National Rank of St. Paul, the First Federal Savings F, Loan of Wayzata, the Twin City Federal Savings A Loan of Ridgedale, the Northwestern National Bank of Minneapolis, the North- western National Bank of St. Paul, the American National Bank of St. Paul, the Northwestern State Bank, Northwest and the Wayzata Bank and Trust Company of Wayzata. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the designation of the foregoing depositories is contingent upon receipt by the City of Plymouth of evidence of suffi- cient collateral in the amount and kinds as required by the State Statutes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the 0 owing voted in favor t ereo ayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
