Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, aregular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Ki—nesota was held--6n—the
7th day of January , 19 80 - The following members were
present:Ma�o�r_ Hunt, CounciTmeMbers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Scnneider
The following— members were absent: None
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 80-46
APPROVING APPOINTMENT TO COMMUNITY EDUCATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
WAYZATA SCHOOL DISTRICT #284
WHEREAS, Independent School District #284 has initiated a Community
Education Program; and
WHEREAS, the creation of a Community Education Advisory Council is
required by law as an integral part of that program; and
WHEREAS, Independent School District #284 has requested the appoint-
ment of two individuals from the City of Plymouth to the Wayzata
District Community Education Advisory Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that Ms. Betty Threinen and Ms. Jane Thorston
be appointed as the City's representatives to the Wayzata District
Community Education Advisory Council for terms to expire January 31, 1981.
The motic,n for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vcte in favor t ereo: ayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport,
Hoyt, Neils and Schneider
The following voted against or abstained:
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
