HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-036CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, aregulgr _ meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held Lhe 7th day of January , 19 80 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The followina members were absent: Nnna CouQcilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 - 36 AGREEMENT WITH MUNICIPAL AND PRIVATE SERVICES, INC. (MAPSI) WHEREAS, the Staff has recommended that the City enter into an agreement with Municipal and Private Services, Inc., (MAPSI), for 1980; and WHEREAS, the terms of the agreement provide that MAPSI will act to enforce City Ordinances as they relate to animal nuisances; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the agreement and finds that the public health, safety, and welfare are enhanced by the execution of this agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Mayor and City Manager be and the same are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Municipal and Private Services, Inc. (MAPSI) for animal patrol services for the calendar year 1980. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by' Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon. the following vote n favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The of owing voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passe anop'adopted.
