Special Council Meeting
January 12, 2021
Mayor Wosje called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 5:00 p.m. on January 12,
2021.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Wosje, Councilmembers Willis, Carroll, McGregor, Roehl, Davis, and Prom.
Councilmembers Roehl, Willis, and Carroll participated remotely per State Statute 13D.021).
ABSENT: None.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Callister,Administrative Services Director Hokkanen, Community
Development Director Juetten, Deputy Director of Park and Recreation Northway, Senior Planner
Sommers,Senior Planner Berglund, Deputy Police Chief Fadden, Fire Chief Coppa, Public Works Director
Thompson, Parks and Recreation Director Evans, and City Clerk Engdahl.
Chickens
Senior Planner Sommers presented this item and stated this item is set for public hearing at the Planning
Commission meeting on January 20.
Council provided general comments, including but not limited to the size of coop, run,and setbacks.
Bees
Senior Planner Berglund presented this item and stated as with the chicken ordinance,this item is set
for public hearing at the Planning Commission meeting on January 20.
While the Council wasn't as educated with bees as they were with chickens, the general consensus was
to proceed.
Both ordinances would come to the Council in the near future.
Future Study Sessions
Council scheduled a study session on March 9 at 5 p.m.to discuss the County Road 73 Area Study.
