Action Requested: The Mayor provides instructions for the public to observe the meeting by phone or online. 2. Background: Council meetings will be conducted virtually (via Zoom webinar/conference call) due to the state of local emergency for the COVID 19 pandemic. Action Requested: Adopt attached resolution approving on sale intoxicating liquor license with Sunday sales for Rock Elm Plymouth, LLC, dba Rock Elm Tavern, 16605 County Road 24, Suite 211 2. Background: Licensee submitted communication on December 23, 2020 stating they were ceasing operations effective that day. Therefore, they do not hold a valid liquor license. Licensee desires to serve liquor immediately through January 31 (current license period). Licensee has recently submitted renewal application for the 2021 license period that is on the January 26 Regular Meeting agenda for approval. 3. Budget Impact: N/A 4. Attachments: Resolution 2021-041 3 CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2021-041 RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE WITH SUNDAY SALES FOR ROCK ELM PLYMOUTH, LLC ROCK ELM TAVERN, 16605 COUNTY ROAD 24, SUITE 211 WHEREAS, staff submitted written communication from the licensee on December 23, 2020 stating they were ceasing operations that day; and WHEREAS, the licensee desires to serve liquor immediately; and WHEREAS, the licensee doesn’t hold a valid liquor license. NOW,THEREFORE,BEITHEREBYRESOLVEDBYTHECITYCOUNCILOFTHECITYOFPLYMOUTH, MINNESOTAthat the license for the period of January 22, 2021 through January 31, 2021 is approved. APPROVED by the City Council on this 22nd day of January, 2021. 4
