HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-011CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Innesota was a on the 7th day of Januar , 19 80 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Counci mem ersavenpor% Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following members were absen—t--mane Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-11 RECEIVING REPORT AND ORDERING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR WELL NO. 6 - PROJECT NO. 012 WHEREAS, the City Council has ordered the preparation of an engineering report to determine the feasibility of the construction of Deep Well No. 6 (Project 012); and WHEREAS, the City's consulting engineers, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, have prepared and submitted said report, dated December 14, 1979, to this Council, which report indicates that such a well is feasible; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the report on Well #6 (Project 012), as prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., be and the same is hereby accepted; AND FURTHER that the consulting engineers be authorized and directed to proceed with the preparations of final plans and specifications for said Well #6 to be located on property owned by the Minnesota Department of Transportation adjacent to Fernbrook Lane and north of 23rd Avenue as recommended in the preliminary engineering report. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the estimated cost of this project, $243,000.00, be appropriated from the City's Utility Trunk Fund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by' Councilmember Ho t , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: one Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
