Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held—on the
7th day 'of January , 19 80 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider .
The following members were absent: None
rouprilipember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-7
RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT 001
NATHAN LANE FROM 8TH AVE. TO 10TH AVE. - STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of the Council adopted November 19, 1979, a report
has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Assoicates, Inc. with respect
to the improvement of Nathan Lane from 8th Ave. to 10th Ave.; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of bituminous street with
concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on January 7, 1980;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance
with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or
a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated
total cost of the improvement of $62,935.00.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 4th
day of February, 1980 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City
Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give
mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required
by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by'
' Councilmember Daven port and upon vote being taken thereon the
following vote in avor thereof: –Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport,
Hoyt, Neils and Schneider
The following voted against or abstained: None •
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
