R ESOLUTION A PPROVING P LANS AND S PECIFICATIONS, AND O RDERING A DVERTISEMENT
FOR B IDS FOR THE R IDGEMOUNT A VENUE R EHABILITATION P ROJECT (ST210002)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted January 26, 2021, the
City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for improvement No. ST210002, the
improvement of the Ridgemount Avenue Rehabilitation Project including Ridgemount Avenue
from Vinewood Lane to County Road 73 by reclamation and partial reconstruction of streets,
replacement of concrete curb and gutter, water main, storm sewer, repairs to the sanitary
sewer, and all necessary appurtenances, and has presented such Plans and Specifications to the
Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, are approved.
2. The City of Minnetonka shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper
and on Quest CDN an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such
approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published three times, shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received online by QuestCDN until
11:00 a.m. on January 26, 2021 at which time they will be publicly displayed at Minnetonka City
hall at 14600 Minnetonka Boulevard, Minnetonka, Minnesota, by the City Engineer and City
Clerk, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the council at 7:00 p.m. on March 23,
2021, in the Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during
consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of
responsibility. No bids will be considered unless submitted online via the QuestCDN bidding site
and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the
City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
