HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-783Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79- 783 DENIAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO HAVE A RETAIL OUTLET FOR BAKERY GOODS FOR PAN -O -GOLD HOLSUM BAKERY COMPANY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST QUADRANT OF THE INTERSECTION OF RANCHVIEW LANE AND 30TH AVENUE NORTH (79076) WHEREAS, Volp Construction, on behalf of Pan -O -Gold Holsum Bakery Company has requested approval of a conditional use permit to conduct retail sales in a portion of the proposed office/warehouse building to be located at the northeast quadrant of the intersection of Ranchview Lane and 30th Avenue North; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended denial; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does deny the request for a conditional use permit to conduct retail sales in a portion of the proposed office/warehouse building for the reasons of the difficulty in controlling signage, and the use is not deemed essential to or compatible with the I-1 District. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hoyt and upon vote being taken thereon, the ollowIng voted in favor t ereo Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and a opte .
