The following members were ' present: Actino Mayor Spaeth, Councilmembers Davenport Hoyt and Neils The following memDers were a sent: —Mayor Hunt Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-774 ORDERING REVISION AND UPDATING OF PRELIMINARY REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 606 PARKER'S LAKE OUTLET WHEREAS, it is proposed to provide an outlet for the following ponds as shown on the Storm Drainage System Map Figure No. 13: 1. Parker's Lake (PL -P1) 2. Pond BC -P19 lying north and south of the Minnesota Western Railroad right-of-way between Harbor Lane and Fernbrook Lane 3. Pond BC -P20 lying on the west side of Interstate Highway No. 494 south of County Road 6 4. Pond BC -P-21 lying on the east side of Interstate Highway No. 494 south of County Road 6; and WHEREAS, said improvement is proposed as part of the City's 1980 Capital Improvements Project; and WHEREAS, a report has been prepared for said improvement, but said report requires revisions, updating and review of alternates; and WHEREAS, property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Eugene A. Hickok and Associates, Inc. for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a pre- liminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor t ereo : cting Mayor Spaeth, Councilmembers �Day=eneort, Hoyt and Neils The following voted aggainst or abstained: one .
