Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was Feld on the
19th day of November 19 79 . The following members were
present: Acting Spaeth Counciimembers Davenport, Hoyt and Neils
The following members were a sen Mayor Hunt
Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and
moved its a option:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-767
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT ON
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 006
EMPIRE LANE IN PLYMOUTH FREEWAY 2ND ADDITION
STREET
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Empire Lane in Plymouth Freeway 2nd Addition
by the installation of a 7 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter
and including full grading, gravel base, bituminous surface, all necessary
drainage facilities, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, property henfited by such projects will be assessed for all or a
portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011
to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene,
Anderlik R Asociates for study and that the engineers be instructed to report
to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a
preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to
whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ne'1s p
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fo owing vats �n avor t ereo : Acting Magnr Soth' Councilmembers
Davenport, Hoyt and Neils
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
