Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
19th day of November , I9 79 . The following members were
present: Acting Mayor Spaeth, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt and Neils

Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79- 765
ORDFRING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINAP.Y REPORT ON
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 004
51ST AVENUE - NATHAN LANE WEST TO CUL -PE -SAC
STREET AND UTILITIES
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve 51st Avenue from Nathan Lane west to cul-de-sac
by the installation of a 9 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter
and including full grading, gravel base, bituminous surface, all necessary
drainage facilities, sanitary sewer, water main and all necessary appurtenances;
and
WHEREAS, property benfited by such projects will he assessed for all or a
portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011
to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY of PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene,
Anderlik R Asociates for study and that the engineers he instructei to report
to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a
preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to
whether it should he best made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by'
