RESOLUTION NO. 79-763
i' ORDERING THE PREPARATION
OF A PRELIMINARY REPORT ON
VICKSBURG LANE - HIGHWAY 55 TO CO. RD. NO. 6
PROJECT 002
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Vicksburg Lane from Highway 55 to County Road
6 by the installation of a 9 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter
and including full grading, gravel base, bituminous surface, all necessary
drainage facilities, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances,
and
WHEREAS, property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a portion
of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111
(Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Strgar-Roscoe, Inc. for
study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all
convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether it
should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and
the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended.
