HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-762Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and moved its a option: RESOLUTION NO. 79-762 ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRFLIMINARY REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 001 NATHAN LANE - 10TH AVENUE TO 9TH AVENUE STREET AND UTILITIES WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Nathan Lane from 10th Avenue to 9th Avenue by the installation of a 9 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter and including full grading, gravel base, bituminous surface, all necessary drainage facilities, sanitary sewer, water main and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, property benfited by such projects will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik A Asociates for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by' Councilmember Neils and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor t ereo : Acting Mayor Spaeth. Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt and _Neils roilowing voted against or abstained: None eupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
