the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota wa—as mon the

moved its adoption: introduced the following P.esolution and
RESOLUTION NO, 79- 760
APPROVING RECLASSIFICATION OF LAND USE GUIDING FOR GAR -LAR PROPERTIES AT THE
SOUTHWEST QUADRANT OF VICKSBURG LANE AND COUNTY ROAD 9 FROM PUBLIC SEMI-PUBLIC
TO LA -2 (LOW MEDIUN DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) (79069)
WHEREAS, Gar -Lar Properties has requested approval of reclassification of land
use guiding for spproximately 25 acres of land in the southwest quadrant of
Vicksburg Lane and County Road 9 from Public Semi -Public to LA4 (low mediun
density residential); and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the request following a duly
scheduled public hearing and has recommended approval, to include the adjacent
approximate 2.5 acre parcel known as the "Stivland Property" at 4025 Vicksburg
Lane;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ply-
mouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve the reclassification
of land use guiding for Gar -Lar Properties for approximately 25 acres of land
in the southwest quadrant of Vicksburg Lane and County Road 9 from Public Semi -
Public to LA -2 (low mediun density residential) in accordance with Exhibit 79069
dated 11-19-79 (specifically, parcels numbered 17-118-22-14-0005 and 17-118-22-14-
0006), subject to the following condition:
Actual development of the property is contingent upon City Council
approval of utilities into this area before any zoning and platting
petitions will be entertained.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
ij membor.�h it , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote in favor thereof: _Aeti'ng Mayor Spaeth_ _ouncijmembers
Davenport. Hovt and Neils
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
