Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
mov— emits- adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-745
AUTHORIZING REDUCTION OF SITE PERFORMANCE BOND FOR FUN AND GAMES AMUSEMENT
CENTER (A-508)
WHEREAS, the site plan submitted by Charles Carlson for the Fun and Games
Amusement Center located at 3425 County Road 18 was approved under City
Council Resolution #78-265; and,
WHEREAS, the developer submitted the required site performance guarantee
in the form of a letter of credit in the amount of $3,000; and,
WHEREAS, renewal of the conditional use permit for operation of the Fun
and Games Amusement Center was approved under City Council Resolution #79-709
conditional upon extension of the performance guarantee to assure maintenance
and upkeep of the improvements; and,
WHEREAS, upon notice from the developer that required site improvements had
been accomplisher, City Staff has inspected said site and recommends reduction
of the bond;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does authorize the reduction
of the letter of credit #78-141 for site improvements at the Fun and Games
Amusement Center located at 3425 County Road 18 from $3,000 to $1,500.
