HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-734Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-734 RECEIVING PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT MEADOW LAWN ESTATES 5TH ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the property owners requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting on 39th Ave. - Zachary Lane to Union Terrace Lane; and WHEREAS, this street is within Meadow Lawn Estates 5th Addition and there are not street lights on the other streets within the addition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 39th Ave. - Za-hary Lane to Union Terrace Lane by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on November 5, 1979, is herewith received. 2. The petition is not signed by 100% of the affected property owners and will require public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The installation of street lights in Meadow Lawn Estates 5th Addition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
