Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
5th day of November , 19 79 . The following members were
present: Moor Hunt, Counci imembers Davenport, Hoyt, and Spaeth
The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils
Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-732
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR CONTROL DATA CORPORATION FOR INSTALLATION OF
A WIND GENERATING PLANT TO BE LOCATED Ai 2200 BERKSHIRE LANE NORTH (A-203)
WHEREAS, Control Data Corporation has requested a conditional use permit to allow
installation of a wind generating plant to be located beside their existing
building at 2200 Berkshire Lane North; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended
approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ply-
mouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve the request of Control
Data Corporation to install a wind generating plant to be located at the site
of their existing building at 2200 Berkshire Lane North, subject to the follow-
ing conditions:
1. The permit is subject to all applicable rules, regulations, and ordinances,
and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation.
2. Effective measures taken to prevent public interference, such as installation
of a security fence around the tower;
3. Construction to be per applicable Building Code requirements.
4. Safety and operation be reviewed in one (1) ,year after installation
regarding functional and design safety.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by'
Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
n favor thereof:
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
