HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-724Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO, 79-724 APPROVING REVISED SITE PLAN FOR JUDY'S RESTAURANT, 14420 - 28TH PLACE NORTH (A-802) WHEREAS, the City Council under Resolution No, 78-174 approved a site plan and conditional use permit for a Class II restaurant with a drive up window facility at 14420 - 28th Place North; and, WHEREAS, the City Council ordered a public hearing which was held on October 22, 1979 to consider the traffic stacking problem created by the drive up window facility whereby vehicles were backing onto the public street and causing congestion; and, WHEREAS, the petitioner submitted a revised site plan at said hearing as a proposed solution to the traffic stacking problem, and the City Council referred the matter to the Planning Commission for further review and recommendation; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the revised site plan and recommends its approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve the revised site and landscaping plan for Judy's Restaurant subject to the following conditions; 1. That the east drive be an entrance only, reduced to 16 feet wide and clearly signed as an "Entrance Only". 2. The landscape performance financial guarantee shall be continuted for a 24 month period. 3. The lot consolidation/division of the property with Rauenhorse Corporation shall be completed eliminating any substandard parcels, 4. The "horseshoe" shaped delineator at the south portion of the site shall be extended to the northwest to prevent vehicles from cutting into the order line.
