the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was Fe7T on the
22nd day of October , 19 79 . The following members were
present: Hunt, Councimem ers Davenport, Hoyt_, Neils and Spaeth

Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and
moved its a option:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-715
RESOLUTION AWARDING REFORESTATION CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the 1979 Shade Tree Budget contemplates a Reforestation Program, and
WHEREAS, Council has authorized the receipt of Reforestation bids for thirteen
sites, and
WHEREAS, bids have been received from six firms, and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that the bid Fair's Farm Store be accepted by Council,
and
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota Reforestation Refund is estimated at $6,923.26
thereby reducing the direct City costs to approximately $9,962.89;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that:
I. The bid by Fair's Farm Store in the amount of $16,886.25 be accepted and
2. The City Attorney prepare the appropriate contract documents for
execution and
3. The City Manager be authorized to execute the contract between the City
of Plymouth and Fair's Farm Store and
4. The staff be directed to apply for the appropriate State of Minnesota
refunds for expenditures from the Shade Tree Budget (206-206-810).
' The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Hoyt and upon vote being taken thereon, the
0 owing voted in tavor t ereo : Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport,
Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
