HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-710CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth,inM nesota was a on the ' 22 day of October , 1979 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Counci mem ers Hoyt, Neils, Davenport and Spaeth The following members were absent: None t.* Councilmember Davenport ` introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-710 APPROVING VARIANCE FOR MICHAEL M. STULBERG, 6010 Troy Lane WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Michael S. Stulberg, 6010 Troy Lane, requested a variance of approximately 82 feet from the Zoning Ordinance setbac:: requirements to permit construction of a pole building on their property approximately 18 feet from the Troy Lane right-of-way line; and, WHEREAS, the matter was heard by the Board of Zoning Adjustments and Appeals on August 14, 1979 and again considered on October 1, 1979 at which time the majority of Board Members ruled for denial of the variance request; and, WHEREAS, the petitioner requested a hearing before the City Council to appeal that decision in consideration of the soil conditions and topotjraphy of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve a variance for Mr. and Mrs. Michael S. Stulberg to permit the erection of a pole barn at 6010 Troy Lane which shall conform with the setback of the existing home. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded E Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, th following voted in favor tnereo ayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Neils and Hoyt The following voted against or abstained: Councilmember Spaeth Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
