Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-686
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT RENEWAL FOR CAROL FOLKESTAD TO OPERATE A NURSERY
SCHOOL/DAY CARE CENTER IN HER HOME AT 15705 - 6TH AVENUE NORTH (A-631)
WHEREAS, Carol Folkestad has requested a conditional use permit renewal to operate
a nursery school/day care center in her home at 15705 - 6th Avenue North; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve the request of Carol Folkestad
to operate a nursery school/day care center in her home at 15705 - 6th Avenue
North, subject to the following conditions:
1. No outdoor signs be permitted;
2. All applicable fire codes be complied with;
3. A current copy of the State Operating License be submitted to the City
annually;
4. Parents be required to accompany children to and from the classroom except
for those kindergarten children who may be transported by bus.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by'
Councilmember Hoyt and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote in favor thereof: _ Mavor Hunt. Councilmembers-Davenport,
linvt_ Neils and Soaetk-
The following voted against or 'abstained: _:None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted;
