The following members were y present: or Hunt, Counci mem ersavenPOFT�,� Hoyt and Neils The following members were absent: ounce meT�Tm er:5pae Manor Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 - 679 COUNTY STATE AID ROADS 61 AND 15 ALIGNMENT IN THE VICINITY OF I-494 AND U.S. HIGHWAY 12. WHEREAS, the Cities of Plymouth and Minnetonka have adopted Thoroughfare Guide Plans to plan for the orderly movement of traffic through their communities, and WHEREAS, both Cities have worked together cooperatively with representatives of The Carlson Companies to seek alignments for County Roads 61 and 15 as they are proposed to be improved, and WHEREAS, design alignments for said County Roads 61 and 15 have been previously reviewed by the City Council of the City of Plymouth and approved in the concept stage, and WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Department of Transportation believes that the roadway alignments should provide for designs providing for curves not greater than 4 degrees; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners be requested to approve the proposed alignments of County Roads 61 and 15 as previously approved by this Council, recognizing that these designs incorporate a 6 degree curve as opposed to the recommended 4 degree curve of the Hennepin County Department of Transportation. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Davenport , and uouv vote being taken thereon, the following' voted in favor thereof -7 -Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt and Neils me following rated against or abstained.
