Councilmembers Davenport and Hoyt The following members were absent: Councilmembers Neils and SQaeth RRR •RR introduced the following Rasolutim mad muved Its tion: RESOLUTION NO. 79- 667 ADOPTING.ASSESSMENTS PROJECT 811 - LOST LAKE AREA WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments for the following improvement: Revere Lane from CSAH 9 to 39th Ave.; Trenton Lane from 150 feet north of 41st Ave. to 40th Ave., Saratoga Circle north of 40th Ave.; 41st Ave. from Revere Lane to Trenton Lane; 40th Ave, from Revere Lane to Ximsines Lane; and Ximines Lane from 40th Ave. to approximately 350 feet north by the installation of watermain laterals and trunk facilities, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF Pt H, MINNESOTA: 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment again't the lands named therein and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 15 years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1980 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8% per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assess man t from the date of this Resolution until December 31, 1980. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the assessmient on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Director, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this Resolution; and he meal► at any time there- after, pay to the City Finance Director, the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31, of the year in rhich such payment is made. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the saw amwer as other municipal taxes. Resolution 1 79-667 Page 2 ID5. The total cost of the improvement assessed by this Resolution is: Water Area $ 22,818.00 Water Lateral 101,185.00 Street 279,168.00 $ 403,171.00 6.
