CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, minnesota was held on the
l st day of Octnber , 1979 The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt and Neils
The following members were absent: Council member Spaeth
Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO, 79-663
AUTHORIZING FUNDS FOR SEEDING OF CITY CENTER AMPHITHEATER
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to complete the amphitheatre for the 1980
Music in Plymouth Concert; and,
WHEREAS, Blanchard Landscaping has submitted a proposal to complete the level-
ing and seeding at a cost of $900 per acre;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota that it should and hereby does authorize Doc Blanchard Landscaping to
proceed with the leveling and seeding of the amphitheatre near the City Center
at a cost of $900 per acre with the total estimated cost of $3,150,00;
AND FURTHER, that the sum of $3,150,00 be appropriated from the Park Dedica-
tion Fund (Central Park Account) to finance this improvement,
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote in favor t ereo : _ ayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport,
Hoyt and Neils

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
