The following members were ` present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Davenaort, Hovt and Neils following members were absent: Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-648 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF'REPORT STREET LIGHTING - INTERSECTION OF FOUNTAIN LANE AND 27TH AVE. WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the property owners requesting installation of an ornamental residential street light at the intersection of Fountain Lane and 27th Ave.; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of the intersection of Fountain Lane and 27th Ave, by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on October 1, 1979, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declara- tion is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
