RESOLUTION NO. 79- 642
APPROVING ENTRANCE MONUMENT SIGN FOR WESTRIDGE ESTATES FOR LAUKKA ASSOCIATES
(A-745)
WHEREAS, Larry Laukka Associates has requested approval of an entrance monument
sign in the median divider at the entrance of Westridge Estates at Goldenrod
Lane and County Road 9; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request and has recommended
approval; and,
WHEREAS, the petitioner has submitted an agreement to be filed with the Westridge
Estates Homeowners Association agreements and by-laws relative to the maintenance
and liability for the sign which would be within the public right-of-way;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve the request of Larry Laukka
Associates for an entrance monument sign at Goldenrod Lane and County Road 9
subject to the following conditions:
1. No permit to be issued until the proposed sign maintenance and nuisance
agreement has been approved by the City Attorney and filed with the
Homeowner's Association documents;
2. The size of the sign shall meet the ordinance square footage requirements;
3. A setback variance is approved to allow the sign to come within ten (10)
feet of the front property line in consideration of permitting the sign
to be located in a symmertical fashion on the median divider.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by'
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
