Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved is adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-611
AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF CATCH BASIN CLEANER AND STREET SWEEPER
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended the purchase of a 1973 reconditioned
Ecolotec vacuum street sweeper/catch basin cleaner to replace the 1964 Vac -al
and 1971 Elgin which are in need of extensive repairs to meet the City's needs
for cleaning catch basins and for street sweeping;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the sum of $5,000 be appropriated from the Central Equipment Fund
in lieu of the Drag Bax Paver to purchase a 1973 Ecolotic vacuum street sweeper/
catch basin cleaner including the trade-in of the existing City catch basin cleaner
and street sweeper.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by'
Councilmember Davenport . and upon vote being taken thereon, the
