Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was a on the
17th day of September , 19 79 The following members were
present: Hunt, Councilmembers avenport—,Neils and Spaeth
following members were
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption.
RESOLUTION NO. 79-597
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT 811 - LOST LAKE AREA
WHEREAS, by a Resolution passed by the Council on September 17, 1979, the City
Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the
following improvements:
1. Revere Lane from County State Aid Highway 9 to 39th Avenue
2. Trenton Lane from 150 feet north of 41st Avenue to 40th Avenue
3. Saratoga Circle north of 40th Avenue
4. 41st Avenue from Revere Lane to Trenton Lane
5. 40th Avenue from Revere Lane to Ximines Lane
6. Ximines Lane from 40th Avenue to approximately 350 feet north
by the installation of watermain laterals and trunk facilites, bituminous street
with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has
been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 9th day of October, 1979, in the City
Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard,
Plymouth, Minnesota, at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment
and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such
improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to
such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on
the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper
at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice
the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed
notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment
roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: �ynr unt, Councilmembers Davenport,
Neils and Spaeth
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopt.
