HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-5893 CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was a on the ' 17th day of September , 19 79 . The following members were present, mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Dayenpgrt. Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: —Cauncilmember Hoyt Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-589 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 816 - 13TH AVE. STREET OVERLAY WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 13th Avenue from CSAR 18 to South Shore Drive by the installation of bituminous street overlay together with the replacement of damaged concrete curb and gutter; and the contract price for such improvement is $ 42 2790.00 , and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $ 7,862.00 , so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ 50 652.00 ; and of this cost the City will pay $ 0.00 as its share o ti fiecost•, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $ 50,652.00 . 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by' Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor t ereo : mor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Neils and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None , Whereupon the Resolution was declared duty passed and adopted.
