The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Counci mem ers aven ort, Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: Counci member Hoyt *t* Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-588 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSEQ ASSESSMENT PROJECT 811 - LOST LAKE AREA WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. Revere Lane from County State Aid Highway 9 to 39th Avenue 2. Trenton Lane from 150 feet north of 41st Avenue to 40th Avenue 3. Saratoga Circle north of 40th Avenue 4. 41st Avenue from Revere Lane to Trenton Lane 5. 40th Avenue from Revere Lane to Ximines Lane 6. Ximines Lane from 40th Avenue to approximately 350 feet north by the installation of watermain laterals and trunk facilites, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $ 317,315.00, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $ 64,211.00 , so the talal cost of the improvement will be $ 381,526.00; and of this cost the City will pay $ 1,173.00 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $ 380,353.00. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for water and trunk main, pumping and storage facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning. Water Area Residential: $300.00 per 1/2 acre lot or $600.00 per acre 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improve- ment against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof.
