RESOLUTION NO. 79-553
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT' FOR BIDS
PROJECT NO. 802
LARCH LANE IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions adopted by the City Council on November 6, 1978
and February 20, 1979, the Consulting Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik &
Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the Larch Lane
Improvements from County #9 to the Soo Line Railroad;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifi-
cations. The advertisement shall be published for three days; shall
specify the work to be done; shall state that bids will be received by
the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, 1979, at which
time they will be publicly opened in the Plymouth City Center at 3400
Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota by the City Manager, and that
no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk
and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified
check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adaption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
ou c' u , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
folow ng vote in avor thereof: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Davenport,
Wit. Neils and Spaeth
The following voted against or abstained:. None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly --passed and adopted.
