Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-543
APPROVING AND CONSENTING TO A TAX LEVY FOR THE PURPOSE
OF DEFRAYING THE COST OF OPERATION OF THE HOUSING AND
REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH FOR THE
YEAR 1980
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plymouth is the governing body of the
City of Plymouth, and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth has
taken the opportunity to review and comment upon the proposed 1980 budget of
the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to the proposed budget was held on
September 4, 1979, at which time the public had the opportunity to comment
upon the proposed budget, and
WHEREAS, the City Council pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes
Section 462.545, Subd. 6, must by resolution consent to the proposed tax levy
of the Authority;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it consents to the special tax levied by the Authority upon all
real and personal property within the City of Plymouth in the amount of $17,305.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said tax levy be certified to the County Finance
Director of Hennepin County on or before October 10, 1979.
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember oRyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
