The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: Counc *** Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and move its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-528 APPROVING REVISED MINIMUM YARD SETBACKS AND AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION 74-506 FOR MEDICINE RIDGE ADDITION FOR RICHARD DEMPSEY (A-515) WHEREAS, the City Council under Resolution 74-506 approved the final plat and development contract for Medicine Ridge subdivision located south of 28th Avenue North between Medicine Lake Boulevard and Quaker Lane, and WHEREAS, said final plat included a minimum 50 foot front yard setback for all lots, and WHEREAS, the current owner of said subdivision Mr. Richard Dempsey has requested consideration of reduced minimum yard setbacks throughout the subdivision, and WHEREAS, the matter has been reviewed by the Planning Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY kESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the amendment to Resolution 74-506 regarding the final plat of Medicine Ridge as follows: 1. The minimum front yard setback shall be in conformance with current City Ordinance standards (50 foot front yard setbacks from major thorofares; 35 foot front yard setbacks along local streets; and 15 foot side yard setbacks). 2. The 4 foot front yard.variances for Lots 5, 10, and 11, block 1 and Lot 14 Block 2 be continued. 3. Only Lot 14, Block 1 and Lots 2-6, Block 2 shall be permitted driveway access to Pilgrim Lane collector street, and said lots shall be required to be provided with turn -around driveways. 4. In accordance with Condition 1 of this resolution, Lots 1-2, Block 1 shall be required to have 50 foot front yard setbacks on East Medicine Lake Boulevard and Pilgrim Lane and 35 foot front yard setbacks on the local street.
